Why this motorcycle?
Royal Enfield calls the Himalayan "The only motorcycle you'll ever need" and that statement is surprisingly true. Mind you, it's not the only motorcycle you'll ever want, but this motorcycle will take you just about anywhere you want to go on two wheels. It has no frills or gadgets and it's not fast, but that's part of the charm of the Royal Enfield Himalayan.
For us and for this Tour an adventure motorcycle has to have capability and versatility, it has to be capable both on and off road and the Himalayan has both qualities.
Off road is its natural habitat the torque is noticeable, well balanced in low and performs splendidly, on the road it has an acceptable performance, but it lacks speed, one cylinder is not enough and you always want more, however at cruising speed of 100-110 km / hr is quite comfortable and at the end of the day, we are not in a hurry to get there, this tour is to enjoy the road.
The Himalayan is a return to pure motorcycling, without electronics and without complications, part of the fun of motorcycling lies in the raw visceral experience, the man-bike binomial, that is the purpose of an adventure motorcycle and that is what we want to transmit in our Tour.

COMFORT AND EQUIPMENT.
Despite its limitations in terms of raw speed, the Himalayan is very comfortable, it has a good, fairly soft seat, the small windscreen works very well to keep the wind off the chest and the neutral riding position is very comfortable all day long.
This bike perfectly meets the requirements of the tour in comfort and safety.
The bikes are equipped with the necessary for our tour, auxiliary headlights, 10 liter waterproof side bags, crankcase protector, engine and tank guards.
